• New features in eLZee Inflight - 2010-06-14

    Based on user feedback the following features were added to eLZee available from software patch level v2.0.2010612

    1. Adress lookup using Google.

      Type in part of an adress and get all matches loaded as Waypoints for direct use.
      The newly added Copy/Paste function allows you to copy selected waypoints to other waypoint files
    2. 3D-playback of flown route.

      eLZee simulator now can load and replay in 3D any route from the daily logs files kept by eLZee.
      The log files were extended to include all navigation commands the pilot entered during the flight.
    3. User controlled caching of Google images, for use when internet connection is not available.

      The new DSK and SAV - commands of eLZee MAP2D allow you to use a third map source : cached Google maps.
      Switching between the three resources : eLZee vector maps, Google online maps and Googled cached maps goes conveniently via on screen touch buttons.
